Breakdance Builder gives you full control over your website’s layout, but one of the most common things users want to tweak is the page width. Instead of adjusting each page manually, you can set a global page width to keep everything looking consistent and professional.
Here’s how you can do it in just a few steps! 🚀
Breakdance makes it super easy to set global styles that apply to every page.
1️⃣ Go to Breakdance → Website Settings in your WordPress dashboard.
2️⃣ Click on Global Styles – this is where you can manage site-wide settings like typography, colors, and layout.
1️⃣ Inside Global Styles, find and click on Layout.
2️⃣ Look for the option Page Width or Container Width (depends on your setup).
3️⃣ Set the width to your desired value:
💡 Pro Tip: If you want different widths for desktop, tablet, and mobile, click on the device icons and set custom values! 📱💻
1️⃣ After setting your preferred width, click “Save” to apply it to your entire website.
2️⃣ Open any page in Breakdance Builder to check if the new width is applied.
Sometimes, you might want certain pages to have a different width (like a landing page). You can override the global setting per page like this:
1️⃣ Edit a page in Breakdance Builder.
2️⃣ Open the Section Settings (click on the outermost container).
3️⃣ Set a custom max-width for just that section/page.
4️⃣ Save and publish!
And that’s it! You’ve now successfully set a global page width in Breakdance, making sure all your pages look clean and consistent.
